Kay-Tee-Tee IV

Juniors. The juniors in my college is definitely different from my secondary school’s juniors. In the old days in secondary school, juniors are more likely to be referred as the prefects’ juniors. Not really the students who are younger than our batch.

But, that’s secondary school. Not in college.

When the juniors came in, I didn’t think I would be free or even willing to get to know them. Maybe it’s because I wasn’t close to my seniors. I was only close to Sharlyne and a few CF seniors. Call me anti-social but, not many of my seniors hang out with my friends and I. I seriously don’t know much about them.

20

So, when the juniors entered college, I didn’t really want to hang out much with them. But, they’re too cute to resist! Talking about the CF juniors, they are awesome. They are people who are full of excitement, enthusiasm, love, surprise, and the list goes on…

19

24

It’s really sad coz’ when I was just starting to hang out with them and get to know them better, I had to leave college. It was just a few weeks before I graduated from college that I started to join them in the library to study. It was really fun studying with juniors, with all those gossips, jokes, chats and not forgetting, the high-risks-of-getting-diabetes candies.

18

23Cute Willy and Edwin!

Talking about studying with juniors, I also started to study with another group of juniors every night in the empty room just below my apartment. They are mostly 1-year students except this girl who everyone claimed to look like me! But, I must admit, we do have quite a few similarities.

22

We look alike meh? I think she looks more like Ah Ning =)

We became good friends in just a short time. Chai Lian and I just love to dig their secrets out and they were scared of us that they would tell us their little secrets. So cute of them. They are all very caring and kind to me.

21

Studying illegally at 2am in the empty classroom…

And sometimes I think that, it’s not always the seniors who teach the juniors but the other way round too. For me, I think they had taught me a lot of things and I’m really thankful for having them as my juniors.

P/s: So sorry! I don’t have pictures of the rest like, Sui Seng, Hau Seng, John and a few more. =( Got to get some from Chai Lian next time. I miss you all!

Kay-Tee-Tee III

A special post dedicated to my college’s Christian Fellowship. My little testimony about me in CF.

a10

CF every Wednesday night.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The place I went every Wednesday, the people I joined every Wednesday and the fellowship I had with them every Wednesday.

a1

I had learned so much about God in CF. I had gotten closer to God through CF.

As I had mentioned in my first Kay-Tee-Tee post, I had never really joined such a fellowship when I’m back in my hometown. It’s my very first time joining CF and I know it’s exactly what God wanted me to do when He put me there at the first place.

a5

CF was where I got to know so many awesome people. Regardless of speakers, visitors, seniors, friends or juniors, they are all awesome people who had brought inspirations to my life. They are truly, a blessing to me.

a3

I was once a shy girl who refused to lead a prayer or just even to voice out her thoughts and opinions during meetings. I was scared to say or ask anything because I didn’t want to look like a fool who doesn’t know a thing. I was just too embarrassed to do so.

a6

But, every since joining CF, I started to open up. I started to stop feeling shy or embarrassed and asked questions when I don’t understand some things. I started to share my thoughts when my CF leader asked me to. And I started to lead prayers when somebody asked me to. I feel so good because I now know that what I’m doing are all for God. Why feel so shy or embarrassed? It’s a blessing to do it. Why not?

a2

I <3 CF. I <3 God. =)

Kay-Tee-Tee II

As you can see in my previous post, I’ll be doing a collection of Kay-Tee-Tee posts to conclude the 1.5 years of my life there. Reasons why I’m doing this are to share to people about my life in college and what I love about being in college. It’s definitely a blessing to be there and I hope it’s going to be the same when I go to India.

I guess I’ll continue the collection by writing about my housemates.

First day of the college, I was alone, with my sister. I didn’t really know anyone. So, while I was queuing up in front of the lecture hall’s entrance, an auntie came to me. She asked me where I’m from. I said “Miri” and she continued asking me whether I know Elise (Joa’s friend from NS and also my room mate’s friend).

I was so amazed by the auntie coz’ the girl she talked to was the one she actually know. And that was the first time I met my room mate, Oanna (Just kidding, her name is Joanna larr…).

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Suraya labeled us as the 2 weird animals in Madagascar movie!

And there was Suraya, the girl who left a comment on my blog before we met. It’s such a coincidence coz’ we’re all kind of connected in all kind of ways.

Yasmin was the last one to reach the apartment. The first impression I had on her when I saw her was that she’s a very gentle but, spoilt girl. Haha… (I call her spoilt brat sometimes but, I know, it’s not nice to do so) And her first impression on me was I’m nice, quiet girl but, she then realised that it was a total opposite! Muahaha…

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Yasmin is going to kill me for posting this pic up! Haha!!!

14

My best partner in Biology lab =)

So, all 3 of these girls who coincidentally come from KL and by all means, became my housemates. We’re all different people of different races and religions but, we managed to stay together in an apartment in peace and harmony. Guess we should be selected to be the ambassadors of 1Malaysia. Haha!

10

First time jogging together, 4 of us + Jun Mei + Haziqah

We grew close together and enjoyed each others’ company. We even had rankings for the most evil person in the apartment. And Suraya was No.1 because of her sarcasm, followed up by me because of my slappings and bullyings, Joanna came in third and lastly, Yasmin.

11

Went for a walk to release exam stress…

Not forgetting, we even made a list of guys for Joanna and stuck it to our wall for months before she tore it off. Haha! And also counseling Suraya about her ‘fly’ before finally seeing her changing her Facebook’s status to ‘Married’.

17

Can’t believe I’ll post this up right, Oanna? Haha!

Also Yasmin, my ALL/ALU9 housemate. The girl who always had to wake me up for classes. She’s one of my good friends in college whom I really liked talking to and also to bully. It’s so fun to bully her! Muahaha…

13

Studying together in library…

And if it’s not because of Joanna, I would not know how to play guitar by now. She’s an awesome room mate who’s always there to support me when I’m need them.

8

These 2 really have something for each other… =)

2-3-A2 is always the best! I’m going to miss you 3 girls a lot. I’m sure you girls will miss all my naggings to ask you all to clean the apartment. Muahahaa…

16

Ponggal Night =)

Before I end this post, I just want to thank these 3 wonderful girls, Joanna, Suraya and Yasmin. Thank you so much for filling the empty spaces in my heart, thank you for taking care of my when I’m sick especially that time when I twisted my ankle, thank you for tolerating my demands for the cleanliness of our apartment. There are still so many thank you’s I want to say to you girls but, if I am to list them all down here, I’ll take ages! But, most importantly, thank you for being my good friends.

12

Our very first picture together…

Promise we’ll be together again for KI, OK?

Kay-Tee-Tee I

I had learned a lot of things when I was in college. The fact that I had to be away from home had really changed my life. I had grown to be more independent, made loads of good friends and realised how important family is to me.

But, there is still one thing that had really changed me. That one particular thing is God. When I was at this small, depressing place, I experienced God. 1

It’s funny coz’ when I knew I was going to this college, I questioned God why?

Why must it be here?

Now, I know why.

Before going to this college, I was quite an anti-social when it comes to church. I didn’t have a lot of friends there. In fact, I was bullied when I was in Sunday School and because of this, I refused to mix with the youths because I thought they didn’t like to hang out with me. It was a big discouragement to me. I guess I was quite paranoid too.

So, I never really had the experience of serving God in church and mixing with the youths. God knew how much I wanted this so much that He sent me to this college.

4

God is awesome. I kind of had a mild depression for the first 3 days there. I was completely a different person. But, when I attended the college’s CF for the first time, I felt so good. So good that I feel this is home to me. I think that’s when I got my smile back.

7

Besides, I was elected to be one of the committee members for CF. Although it wasn’t very difficult, I took it as God’s blessing. I enjoyed every single time I had in CF with my friends. And that was also the time I started to learn guitar and play for CF.

6

Nilai Chinese Methodist Church was the church I had been attending when I was there. It’s a small church but, the pastors, members and youths there are amazing people. I also got the chance to serve in the Tertiary Youth Fellowship as one of the committee members.

I really liked it there as it’s my very first time getting along well with the youths. Although we’re from different colleges, they are so friendly and nice.

If it wasn’t because of Agnes, I would not have the chance to play guitar for church too. Awesome experience.

Just like what many of us agree on, it’s always the people of Kay-Tee-Tee that kept us going. For me, it’s not only the people but, Him too.

Prom Graduation Night

We just had our prom graduation night last Saturday. It was an awesome and fantastic night to remember!

3

Me & Christine during the rehearsal.. I was so tired!!

Everybody really took the effort to dress up nice for this event of the year. Well, I must admit that I had a difficult time finding a dress and had myself ended buying a quite expensive dress. I felt quite bad at first for buying such an expensive dress but, it’s once in a while that I could attend such event.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Full length pic of me =)

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

With the white rose! Don’t know why I looked different.. =( Maybe coz’ of the lipstick?

My friends and I did a musical performance. It was a blast and we all did a great job since we kind of screwed up the rehearsal. So, before performing, Christine, Hui Fen and I said a short prayer about it and it went well! I shall try get pictures from friends on the musical since I forgot to ask my housemates to take for me. =P

4

Suraya, me and Haziqah!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

With Chai Lian, my study buddy! =P

The whole night was mostly about us taking millions of pictures! Except that I didn’t take that much since I was a little bit tired.

7

My housemates (Suraya, Yasmin and Joanna) + neighbour (Haziqah)!

I had loads of fun. It was really meaningful since we wouldn’t be seeing each other in a few months time. Gonna miss all my Kay-Tee-Tee friends! Gonna miss all my CF buddies very much! Honestly, I wouldn’t miss the college but, I will definitely miss all my friends.

I’m Back!

Hey hey!

It feels weird to resume my blogging habit after 1 month ++! Seriously, did anyone even visited my blog after I went MIA for so long? Well, the only one I know who always visit my blog is ME. Yes, it’s me. Funny coz’ every time I on my Google Chrome, the first thing I click will always be my blog. Then, Gmail, The Star online and so on.

Willy, Me and Sue Ting =)

I feel kind of free now since I won’t be sitting for any exams or even going to any classes any time soon. So free yet, I feel there are so many things for me to do! There are certain important things that I have to do but, I’m procrastinating. Help~

10320_1243034151187_1089354948_778961_2800228_n

Sue Ting, Daniel and me with CF juniors! Noisy juniors from ‘Penang’.. Lol!

Btw, exams are awesome. Awesome not because it was easy, in fact, it wasn’t at all. But, God made it awesome to me that I felt peaceful after every exams. No matter how difficult the questions were or how many questions I know I could be wrong, I felt peaceful, knowing that God will take control all of these. It’s definitely a whole new experience to me. No matter how dangerously late I could be for finishing my syllabus and past year questions, I knew I could do it because God is my strength and He was there to guide me and teach me the things I needed to know. He helped me finished what I had to and prepared me the battle every time I enter the exam hall. Amazing God.

I thank God for awesome friends in college. They are the ones who kept me smiling all the time! (At Edwin’s place)

Now, college life is coming to an end. Time flies. It seems like it was just yesterday that I saw my seniors finished their A-Levels and going to graduation night. Little did I know, I’m the one who had finished her A-Levels and preparing for her prom-themed graduation night. Yoohoo!

15436_1225882119878_1013785668_30710183_1576674_n

I’m gonna miss the juniors…

P/s: I’m love watching Glee (influenced by the Gleeks in KTT)! And it’s turning me to become a Gleek! Muahahaha!

Last Semester Here…

Time passed so fast that I didn’t realise that it’s my final semester here in college! And in just 2 weeks time, I will be sitting for my A2 examination. There’s so much to study and revise but, so little time!

My Physics syllabus is not done yet and the extra classes are making me so distracted that I can’t concentrate on my revision. Please, please pray for me. I really want to do well in this examination.

I got to stop going online this frequently and start to focus on my revisions. I’m sorry but, I’ll have to go missing soon! I’ll be MIA for about 1 month until November.

If possible, I’ll try get Hammer the Spammer to update this blog for me. Or maybe Wacker the Hacker? Lol!

Please, do remember me in your prayers. I really don’t want to regret this nor the UPSR event to happen again. Please pray for me for guidance, understanding, discipline and concentration as I sit for examination.

“I can do all things in Him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

P/s: Seems like the girls here in college are all on diet. Why? Graduation is in just a month time and everyone wants to look good and fit into pretty dresses! That includes me. That’s why I’d been doing aerobics and a lil’ toning exercises with Jun Mei. Maybe will start joging (after so many months!) next week. =)

Model Wanna-be

Correction, plus size model. Lol! But I hope I can scrap the words ‘plus size’ ASAP.

It was the one fine night when I requested my room mate to help take photos of me dressed up in my new cardigan, tank top and some accessories that I just bought for WGTGFashion. Then, we got carried away and I ended up photoshop-ing most of the photos.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

One of my first few pictures. Love my purple purse!

Since Ivan was online, I got to ask him for some advice on how to photoshop the photos. It’s hard explaining things over on MSN so, I just did some trials and errors.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

With Suraya’s guitar :)

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I just like holding the purse and guitar at the same time… Lol!

On the next day, I decided to put on some make-ups and wear something different: My ROMP brown shirt with Nichii black vest. We decided to expand our set and we went outside to the balcony and also outside the apartment corridor for the photo shoot. It’s so funny trying to take photos when at the apartment corridor coz’ when I was trying to pose, we heard someone walking up so we quickly dashed into the apartment until the coast in clear. Lol!

edited32  I think this outfit has a lil’ of rockish element…

edited36

One of my favs! Took this photo just right outside my door. There was always this ladder at our corridor so, I borrowed for a while :)

I’m still trying to learn how to photoshop the photos. I really want to know how to create the gothic look and also how to add fake make-up. There are loads more that I want to learn. I need someone to teach me please. :) Maybe after my A-Levels course larr… And meanwhile, I have to be disciplined and go on a diet!

edited31

Me love this! Although I held the guitar in an awkward position but, I really like it!

Hope you guys like the pictures. :) I hope there’ll be more coming!
