I know I didn't really make an official post about the JPA scholarship that I applied for a few months ago. Yes, I got shortlisted for the interview which I thought was a great experience. And praise the Lord, I am awarded the scholarship to study dentistry. It was really a great news for my family and I. Really thank God for it. However, I still didn't get to know where I will be posted to for my dentistry course. I had to wait for about 2 weeks for the offer letter to come! While the others had gotten theirs, I was waiting anxiously at home. I couldn't even bear the curiosity in me! So, I had ErJie to call the JPA for me and ask. And yes, they were quite open to tell and I will be posted to INDIA. She messaged me through MSN and I thought she was just kidding! But, it was really true. I'm going to INDIA. Honestly, I was very sad and I actually cried when I knew it because I really wanted to go to NZ or Australia or anywhere ErJie is going to but, INDIA. And I really wanted to go to the 4-seasoned countries. Was totally depressed!
But, I still got to face the fact. And yes, I did feel much better after chatting to ErJie. She told me about her friends studying there and they are all doing very good there. And the accommodations there are quite luxurious. Not bad at all studying in India. So, I was quite OK after talking to my sister. I guess I was the only one overreacting because even my mum and dad were OK with the results. One important thing that I realised was that this is what God has planned for me. This is where He wants me to go and hopefully through this, I will be closer to Him.Btw, I will be doing my Cambridge A-Levels at KTT (Kolej Teknologi Timur) for 1.5years. But, I prefer to call it ETC. Sounds much better right? Haha... It's located at Sepang which is so far from the city! But, I don't mind. I am still going to find ways to get myself to ErJie's place every weekend. I am going there very soon. The place is quite... I don't know how to describe it but, I'll let you guys know when I'm there. I just really hope I'll get a good place and good, clean house mates. Please pray for me... Really hope everything will be fine there too.
And... I just went for my medical check-up today. Gosh... I came back with two weak arms! I had a blood test where the nurse had a hard time looking for my blood vessels and she almost had to do it for two times. Then, I had an injection to test for TB where the nurse drew a big circle around it and wrote some notes on my arm and warned me not to rub it off. Oh yeah! Not forgetting, I even had a vaccination yesterday which made my arm hurts. :( Well, I just got to get used to these things as I will have to go over the same process when I go to India.
Ouch!
Ouch! Ouch! So, right now, I am still trying to analyse the forms I have to fill, get it done ASAP and get as much info as I can about ETC (KTT). Please do pray for me when I'm there. No matter what, I will stay strong and have faith in God. Don't worry! ^_^
My trip to KL this time was really exhausting! I did lots of walking, shopping, eating and not forgetting, I had a 1 full day of interview! And I'm loving it! ^_'On Wednesday, Daddy and I took an early flight there reaching KLIA at around 8.30am. Then, we took a taxi to ErJie's place then, to Cititel at Midvalley. After checking in, we went to have our lunch. That's when all the walking and eating started! I had my favourite Japanese udon and it tasted nice. Not very original but just OK. After that, we went shopping! Shop, shop, shop... ^_' For dinner, we went to C-Jade Restaurant and had some Chinese food.

Daddy's small bucket of rice and meat
Some of the clothes we bought! Hehe... My interview was on the next day. So, I woke up pretty early at around 6.ooam! Had breakfast, then took a taxi to the place. The interview was difficult! But, OK overall. I actually had fun! Met lots of nice, interesting new friends all over Malaysia: Hui Chi, Daniel (old OTS schoolmate!), Avinash, Barath, Dhevia, Kok Peng, Ken, Dylan, Siew La, Julita, Chee King and some more. Btw, Sarah and Kershia was there too! So, felt better and wasn't lonely. There were individual and group assessment. The group assessment was pretty hard! I think I screwed up at the part where we had to write down our personal ideas. Didn't know whether we had to write an essay or not coz' it was suppose to be our personal ideas so, I only wrote down my ideas in a point form. Hope it's OK... After the whole interview, we exchanged numbers, took pictures and had a short chat. Really thank God for this wonderful opportunity! Praise the Lord! Btw, I bought some Big Apple Doughnuts (Berberboo larr... Her posts made me wanted to eat doughnuts but I couldn't find JCo!) at night for supper and it was so yummylicious!
During one of the group presentations...
A picture of Group B and the cute interviewers! Hope to meet them again... On the very next day, I continued my walking, shopping and eating. Met Keanie-Weanie and he brought me to eat lots, I mean LOTS of food! Penang food, excellent curry puffs, 'tong sui' (糖水/Chinese dessert), 'kuih talam'... I was really bloated at the end of the day! We actually wanted to go for the Big Apple Doughnut but, I was too full. Besides, this friend of mine also brought along his baby, Nikon D80, to take pictures. What can I say... He is a good photographer and the pictures are truly good. But the only thing that annoyed me was he kept taking pictures of me when I wasn't ready and I looked weird! Haha! After he went back, Daddy, ErJie and I went shopping again before having our dinner at Dragon Eye, the restaurant near the hotel lobby. Daddy wanted to go try out the food there because the restaurant always seems to be packed with people and he was also wondering whether the food is nice or not. So, we had dinner there. I ordered 'la mian' and they ordered beef, assorted mushrooms and this really nice vege! The food was really yummylicous! No doubt and the prices there are just nice. After dinner, we went around shopping before going back to the hotel room.
I like this picture... ^_'

Me with the super yummy curry puff! (Berberboo too larr... She wrote about curry puffs too! ^_')
Good take by Keanie-Weanie...
Yummylicious vege! I bet Joa would like it too! :)
My 'la mian'! I love the texture of the noodle! We had to fly back to Miri on Saturday! Didn't do much in the morning because most of the shops weren't open yet at that time. But, managed to go to Carrefour. We wanted to buy the giant bread that ridiculously costs RM18 but, couldn't because the stall was still not open yet! So, Daddy and ErJie ended buying boxes of Big Apple Doughnuts. We dropped ErJie at her place before proceeding to KLIA. I was exhausted while on the plane and slept most of the time. At last, we reached home at about 4.00pm.
Apologies! I was away from Miri for the past few days for a scholarship interview in KL so, I was kind of cut off from the world of internet! Funny... The hotel doesn't offer FREE wi-fi. So, only managed to go online for about two hours at Coffee Bean, Midvalley. Any updates? Yes! A lot... But not now because I need to get all the pictures I took into my laptop first then, do some editing. So, don't worry! I'm going to update on my trip to KL very soon!Stay tune! ^_'
Seriously, I didn't have the mood for April Fool this year because of the scholarship interview that was going to be on the next day. I almost forgot that it was April Fool too! Feeling nervous the whole day, I didn't expect myself to be fooled by anyone until I received this text message...
I was kind of blur when I received this message because I didn't know who is JAY LA. But, I soon realised that it was actually JAY CHOU! Feeling excited, I replied Sherp's text asking her about everything and guess what?! I was April Fooled!!! -_-|||Sherp, you're going to get one big fool next year! Just wait for me~ Muahahaha!!!
Told you guys that I am just taking a short hiatus! Haha!
I just had my interview for a scholarship and I really hope I did well. The interview was quite relaxing but, the questions were really, really difficult! Serious! Thank God I didn't panic! Praise the Lord! But, I am not sure whether my presentation and answers were convincing enough to impress the interviewers. But, I really hope it went well. I have faith in God! I will post up more posts again so, stay tune!!!
P/s: Really thank you to those who prayed for me for my interview. Really appreciate it and I thank God to have relatives and friends like you all! Praise the Lord!
Hey everyone! Apologies for no updates on my blog recently. I'll be taking a short hiatus from the world of blogging as I will be quite busy for this coming week. There will be a lot of things to do!!! By the way, please do pray for me as I will be going for an interview this week. I was really nervous but, managed to feel better a bit after talking to my sisters about it. A really BIG THANK YOU to DaJie and ErJie for helping me through. I will do my best no matter what! I have faith in Him! ^^
