Gleek!

My current favourite show – GLEE.

Thanks to my college juniors and friends, I’m officially a Gleek. But, I think it’s a good show for me coz’ I get to know more English songs since I don’t really like listening to them nowadays.

Well, the characters don’t really set good examples but, what I’m looking forward to every episodes are the songs and their performances. That’s what I like about Glee.

Although he’s gay in Glee (I think in real life too(?) according to Wikipedia), I like his singing especially Defying Gravity!   

If I Become A Memory

It was quite a while since I started to listen to Tank Lu's latest album, The 3rd Round. Not sure why it's named so but, I guess most probably it's because this is his 3rd album. And it didn't take long for me to identify my most favourite song; 如果我变成回忆 (Ru Guo Wo Bian Cheng Hui Yi) which means if I become a memory.


I felt different about the title of the song. I don't know why but, I was wondering why would a song has this kind of title. If I become a memory.. Sounds very deep to me. But, I ignored my thoughts and continued to enjoy the song rather than the meaning of it because I couldn't understand the Chinese words in the song. I'm 'Chinese-buta'.

Then, last night, on my way back in the bus to college, I was talking to my classmates. They asked me to sing a song, so I sang this song. They were super excited coz' it's their favourite song too. And they started to tell me the meaning of the song.

The singer, Tank Lu, underwent a heart surgery. He has severe arrythmia, a genetic heart disease where the heart beats irregularly. (Info taken from here.) And according to my friend, he was at the verge of death. But, he managed to survive, obviously. So, this song, as what I was told, is about his feelings during that time. Now, I finally understand why it was named so. This is such a nice song. It really touched my heart when my friend explained every meaning of the verse to me.

不想懂得

Angela Zhang is one of the best female singers in the Chinese entertainment which I think has an unique and strong voice. Her songs are truly sweet and nice. One of her songs which I like: 不想懂得 is a really a good one. Not only that, the MV of the song is also very well directed with nice graphics.

Dreams Link

I recently got caught up by this romantic, Chinese drama called Dreams Link [又见一帘幽梦] . The reason I started watching it at first was because I was kind of bored and had nothing to do at night! Then, I started to fall in love with the plot and couldn't stop watching it! This drama is actually a remake of the popular Qiong Yao's story: 一帘幽梦.


Synopsis from DramaWiki:

Zi Ling is a dreamer who has always been overshadowed by her perfect older sister Lu Ping. For a long time, she's secretly been in love with Chu Lian, who also happens to be Lu Ping's boyfriend. Lu Ping is busy with her own dream of becoming a successful professional dancer and has little time for Chu Lian. Conflict arises when Chu Lian realizes that the one he truly loves is Zi Ling. An unfortunate accident forces a guilt-ridden Chu Lian to enter an unhappy marriage with Lu Ping, but he is unable to forget Zi Ling. Fei Yun Fan is a mysterious, wealthy, and much older man who loves Zi Ling with all his heart. Hoping to move on with her life, Zi Ling gradually reciprocates Fei Yun Fan's affection.

Sounds kind of complex right? It is... There are going to be conflicts in the middle of the story. However, you will definitely find yourselves touched by the happy moments both Zi Ling and Yun Fan had in Provence. Love that part the most! ^_^ The happy moments might be quite unrealistic but it won't stop you to enjoy the story to the fullest! Btw, the scenes shot for the drama are all scenic and nice especially those from France.


Not only did the story touched my heart, the theme songs were indeed sweet and nice. I could even remember the lyrics for one of the songs: 这种感觉就是爱. Surprising isn't it? Hehe... The song 梦女孩 is also one of my favourites!

Well, to be honest, this is not really the first China drama that I had watched but, it is my most favourite one! So, don't hesitate to watch it if you can. You can try to search for it at YouTube or at the local video shops. Please let me know what you guys think about the drama after you guys have watched it. ^_^

因为我相信

This is a very nice song/video: 因为我相信 . It's by 星光帮, a very talented group of singers. The have good vocals, good voices and good performances. Love the song especially the tune. Although I don't really know the lyrics, I do believe they have a true meaning inside the song. ^_^

Anthony Chang's Meet-The-Fans Session

I have been actively catching up with lots of concerts and meet-the-fans sessions recently. It all started since I was in Primary 6 when I first went to SHE's concert. Then, followed up by 'The Legendary Siblings 2' meet-the-fans session, Astro concert, LYZ and ZDL mini concerts. So, I'm kind of addicted to these kind of functions.

One of the concerts that I had been to..

I read the newspapers a few days ago and spotted a news about Anthony Chang, ATQ 2006 winner. They said he is promoting his new EP: Music Wonderland in East M'sia. So, I quickly searched the Chinese newspapers to check on his news. But, as you all know, I don't read Chinese! My sister didn't want to help me out. So, I texted Emandy and Ning Jie to get some info. Thank God that Ning Jie's friend had some info about it. Then, Mummy also got me some info after she drove past Bintang Plaza.

The stage.. It was still early when I arrived.

So, I went to Bintang Plaza with Lynna just now at 6.10pm. It was suppose to start at 7.00pm so, we wanted to get there earlier. Obviously, the place was not crowded. So, we walked around the place. I also bought his EP there because I couldn't find it in the CD stores before.

The whole thing started at 8.00pm! Well, it was kind of worth waiting. I played some quiz game there and got his poster. Hehe.. The questions were very easy. The emcee asked how did Ant get into this career. I obviously knew the answer which was when he won ATQ 2006.

We waited till it was dark! Haha..

Ant presented some songs: Jue Jiang Ai Zhe Ni, Anthony, and one more fast-paced song (I know that song but, I don't know how to read the name which is in Chinese!). Haha.. I also went up to play a game with him. Well, actually it was not really a game. We had to sing his song! Just like what happened during LYZ's concert. Thank God I know his songs. I searched for the pinyin lyrics a few days ago so, I knew the lyrics. I sang the sweet Jue Jiang Ai Zhe Ni. I was quite nervous but, was conscious enough to invite him to sing with me. Haha.. Then, I got a radioactive goodies bag. Really happy but, I was even happier to meet him. Btw, I also tried to invite him over to eat 'kueh chap' but he didn't believe that I can actually cook! Hehe..

We went up to get his autograph after the whole thing. I requested him to write Lynna and my names. Really felt bad for taking up his time. I gave him a small card which I made that contains my favourite bible verse. I really hope he liked it.

It was so sweet of him to write the messages: Thank you for your support and God bless! (Btw, he is left-handed!)

The whole thing was really fun! I did enjoy his songs. I love his voice. Indeed one of the best I had ever heard. Good vocal, good songs, and even good dance moves! I really hope all the best for him in his career.

Motorsikal

It's not recently but quite a long time ago when I started to catch this really interesting show: 'Motorsikal'.


I had no idea what show it was until I watched the first episode. It's kind of like a traveling show around Malaysia using only a 'motorsikal'. The host is indeed very good, funny and most importantly natural. He is quite cute too. Hehe...


Not forgetting, I love the theme song of the show called: Dao Zhi Yi Yiu.



I enjoy watching the show all the time. It not only entertains me but fills me up with information about the places in Malaysia. Well, I kind of love watching this show now. But, it's going to end soon. Haik... Hopefully they will return again with the 2nd season of 'Motorsikal'.

This song, 我们会再见 is sang by the Astro Talent Quest 2007 five finalist. It is a really nice and sweet song.

This song is recommended by Sherp to me when I was in London. This song is really, really nice and touching. Plus, the music video is really very good. Love the plot. :)

十分笑容 Trailer

I can't wait to watch this drama. Can't wait to see LYZ's performance! I know I am going to love it and I really hope that I wouldn't miss any of its episodes. Btw, I really love LYZ's song called: 十分颜色. It is really unique and sweet. I like most of LYZ's songs btw. :) I cannot help humming the tune all the time now! Really hope I can get the song soon.

You Do Understand Me

I came across this very sweet and nice song recently. It is a solo by Qiao En from the 7 Flowers. It is one of the theme song for Ying Ye San Jia Yi ( 櫻野3加1).
