I b.liv

It was a few months back when I was still in college. I came across a blog and that’s where the b.liv Tagline Search Contest caught my attention. Feeling confident (just a little bit la!), I decided to join.

I submitted 4 taglines because I was kind of kiasu and couldn’t make up my mind which to send in. Lol!

Here’s some of the taglines I sent:

And of course, I got some help from Joanna and Yasmin too. =)

And on 25 Nov 2009, I received an email informing me that I won 2 categories! Yay! =) So, I got my junior to help me collect and post back the prizes back to me. After a month of waiting, I finally got it and guess who was trying to snatch the prizes away from me?!

Shoobie! So naughty. I didn’t even get to take a picture with my prizes. Haha! Don’t you think Shoo is soooo cute? Look at how happy he is in the picture. >_<

Those 2 hampers cost RM700 of b.liv products. I heard the products are really good so, I can’t wait to use it!

Thank you, b.liv!

Lifetime Opportunity

I had been very lucky lately. Actually, I won’t say lucky but, blessed. I seldom win contests especially the online contests where the most creative answers will win. Sometimes, I wouldn’t even bother to join because I know I won’t win at all.

But, there was once when I was reading some blogs and I came across Timothy Tiah’s blog. The post was about David Tao coming to Malaysia for the T Music Festival and he has some tickets to giveaway. He would give those tickets to 10 people who has the best idea of what they will do when they meet their favourite artists. So, I decided to give it a try.

My answer is very, very long so, I’ll just summarise it here. I listed some of the things that I would do if I meet the artists like asking David Tao to teach me guitar, ask the artists to post on my blog and sing a birthday song for me since my birthday was around that time. And for the first time, I won! I was so hyper-excited about it. But, I had to give up the tickets. Well, not really coz’ I sold it to my friends at a very cheap price. I just had to earn some pocket money for my holidays. I kind of regretted for not going because the seats were good and it’s a very big concert!

Me, after collecting the tickets from NuffNang office =)

But, God is so good to me that He planned another awesome thing for me! Something even better than the concert. Something that I really wanted to go to. It’s the ATP Malaysian Open!!! This time, I got the tickets free courtesy of HCFoo.com. Big THANK YOU to HCFoo!

It’s just so amazing because I was the last person to make the cut so, this means that the next person, who is Ah Wei, didn’t get the chance to go watch live. I know this may not appeal much to most people but, this was something that I wanted to go to for a long time. I even wanted to buy the tickets long ago but, Mummy didn’t allow me. But, somehow, I managed to get the tickets for free!

Me (wearing the ATP Msian Open Wilson cap) with Verdasco behind! I’m so happy~ Btw, I didn’t realise I wore the same tee in both pics! Opps.. Hehe!

Truly, it’s a lifetime opportunity because I won’t be in the country for next year’s Malaysian Open. Although I had to give up the chance to watch T Music Festival, I think going to ATP Malaysian Open was much worth it to me because I really like tennis. Who knows, if I had went to the concert, Mummy wouldn’t even allow me to go for this right?

Coming up soon, I will post about the ATP Malaysian Open! Btw, I just came back few hours ago and I had loads of fun. So, stay tune!

Scooby's First Exposure!

THANK YOU so much for all of your votes and support for Scooby! Our beloved, adorable Scooby is voted the MiriCommunity.net's Most Favorite Dog. He won this award by 100 votes! Thank you to family, relatives, friends, friends' friends and etc for voting. We really appreciate your support. ^_^

Spot Scooby!

The prize giving ceremony was held on last Sunday at Taman Bulatan Park. Besides just the prize giving, they even organised the Pure Breed Dog Competition and Exhibition. So, there were a lot of adorable dogs there! Bringing an un-trained dog to public places was quite worrying but, Scooby appeared to be very disciplined and quiet! Instead of running around, barking at dogs, he just sat down quietly with my dad at one side. To my surprise, he even allowed people to touch and pat him!

He looks really like a German Shepherd dog here...

Scooby's fan base! Haha...

There were a lot of people who took pictures of him and asked lots of questions about him! They asked about his age, breed, weight and what he eats because he is so fat! However, there was one question that left me speechless. There was one lady who came, looking excited and asked: Is she having babies? Is she pregnant? *Smack my head!*

The people there love him!

Cute Scooby!

Not forgetting, there were so many cute dogs around too! They are so cute and beautiful. There was one which caught my attention, a St. Bernard. So huge and cute! We really liked it. After the event, my dad even planned to ask where we can get a St. Bernard because he wants one too. -_-|| We also saw a lot of German Shepherds, Bulldogs, Shih Tzus and etc.

Love at first sight...

This dog's really cute and funny!

Adorable~

Saint Bernard!

This dog looks really cunning! But, he's really cute...

After spending about 3 hours there, we finally got the prize and went back home. While we were walking back to our car, Scooby behaved very well and followed my dad back without any chaos! We didn't even have to pull him just to get him back to the car. Impressive, little Scooby! Well, that's roughly what happened on last Sunday. Scooby really impressed us and no doubt that we will consider to enter him into dog competitions next time!

P/s: I thank God for blessing us this really cute dog, Scooby. Not forgetting, our smart HeiQ too!

Supporting Ex-School's Health Quiz Team!

The 3 of us: Marvin, Ming Chai and I went to support our ex-school's Health Quiz team today! It was kind of a last-minute plan but, since the 3 of us + Qi Ying represented the school in this competition for the last 2 consecutive years, we had decided to show some support to the new team. This year, Manveer, Louis, Felicia and Wong represented our school.

Wong, Felicia, Louis and Manveer!

I had actually warned them to do well in the theory test on the day before because during my years, our team was always the one to get the highest score in the theory test. Haha.. But, I was only joking! Was just hoping that they would do well. We met them up after their theory test. They came out complaining about the test! But, I quietly knew that they did well. By the way, I met Charlene, a friend whom I met at last year's forum.

The three of us went away to the town to do some things. We went to grab a bite before heading to Marvin's little brothers' school to fetch them. Marvin's brothers are so cute! Haha.. After that, we went back to see the four of them again to wait for their results. I could see that they were really nervous and I could even feel the nervousness in me too! Just like the old times.. Thank God they made it into the finals! So did CH and Lutong. So, we stayed back to watch their finals. Again, it was nerve-wrecking! I finally got to feel how the teachers and Marvin felt when sitting down there watching us last time. Neerrrrvvvoouuussss! Haha..

The stage..

Louis revising his notes!

After the 3 challenging rounds, our school managed to grab the 2nd place while CH maintained their 1st place. Lutong got 3rd. I am really proud of the four of them because they did a really good job. Although they couldn't defeat the defending champion team, I believe that they had done their best. So, Louis, don't feel disappointed! ^_^

The four of them and I!

Right after they had finished the quiz, the 3 of us went away as I had to go back by 4pm. A very big THANK YOU to Marvin for giving me a lift! Last but not least, thank God for everything! ^^
