Sick & Annoyed

Btw, I’m not in a really good mood. It really annoys me when people are not doing the responsibility that they should do. It should not be my business but, I really can’t help it. I really pity the girl who always have to be the ‘evil’ person to ask the people. When they did not do things they are responsible of, the girl always ended up doing their parts. And worst thing is, they rarely notice the girl’s actions. Haiks.. Pity that little girl. I can’t even help her.

What I'm doing...

Wake up, class, study, eat, talk, study again and sleep. That's practically what I always do nowadays as AS exams is around the corner.

Well, I just want to update this blog once a while to keep all of you updated. Recently, I was sick. But, I'm feeling much better. And now, I just really want to concentrate more on my revisions. Really hope I can finish them in time.

Another thing... I didn't know there was such thing as swine flu when my room mate mentioned about it. So, on the next day, I went to the library to read the news about it. Again... Another epidemic! So, we must really take care of ourselves well.

Recently, a friend in college of mind is diagnosed with a malignant tumour. I'm not very close to him but, he had told me about it before. Thinking of this right now, it really reminds me of how fragile a life could be. Anything could just happen at anytime. But, no matter what, we should appreciate life and live life to the fullest without regrets. God is in control of everything. Btw, he had the tumour removed last Monday and now is recovering. Please pray for him for a speedy recovery as he will have to sit for the AS exams in less than 2 weeks time.

Speaking of anything could just happen at anytime... I heard that one of my seniors got a +ve result for HepB and he couldn't continue his course and fly to India. What a sudden news! What if this suddenly happen to us? All of our dreams to be a doctor/dentist will no longer be true to us. We won't be able to even do or study something we want. Life is just so unfair sometimes. *Gosh.. I can hear someone talking loudly even I'm having my earphones on* But, I believe no matter what happens, it's all part of God's plan. Like what I had just read from a forwarded email from DaJie:

It is easy to get discouraged when things are going bad.
But we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives,
even in the midst of pain and suffering.
For all the negative things we have to say to ourselves,
God has a positive answer.

Always have faith! Whenever a door closes in your life, God will open another door for you. Definitely a better door. =)

P/s: I tried song leading in praise and worship last night in CF! I so nervous but, I'm really happy I tried. Now, I won't be scared to do it anymore.. But, I got to practise singing so I won't go out of tune.. Haha! And I would really love to play guitar again for praise and worship.

Back in College again...

Yes, yes... I'm back in college again. =( And yes, I don't sound excited.

Back to college means away from family, away from holidays, away from comfortable home and back to the stressful life of a student. And not forgetting the most important thing, back to college this time means AS Level Examination. Help~

OK.. Let's talk about my Pre-AS. I got most of my results back. I did quite bad in Chem but, I kind of expected it because I did loads of careless mistakes in Paper 1. And I felt so terrible about it. But, I know I shouldn't keep feeling the same way and I must learn from my mistakes. I will not repeat my mistakes in the real AS. Physics was just average. I didn't do well in my Paper 2. Again, I realised I did quite bad at the questions involving graph. So, gonna work on that. I got an A for Maths! I'm really happy about that and I'm going to keep it going that way. And as for Bio, my lecturer haven't given me all the papers yet but, I hope it'll be good.

AS is around the corner! In just about 3 weeks time, I'll be sitting for my 1st paper. AS will last for a bout 1 month. And I can't wait to finish it! But, at the meantime... I really need to do revisions. Please pray for me so I can be disciplined and concentrate on my revisions. I don't want to disappoint my parents.

Alright. I guess I better stop writing now. I have been on the computer for almost an hour! Better stop and get back to Maths. Btw, I'm having sore throat but, now recovering. Hopefully can recover ASAP. Everybody is falling sick lately.. So, better build up strong a body immunisation! =)

Swollen...

Guess what?! One of the "coolest" thing that could happen to me had just happened to me yesterday. =(

I fell down the stairs. And twisted my right ankle. My left leg is a little sprained too.

It was a nice, free day when I had to mood to go play tennis. So, I decided to ask for transportation from the college. I was told to find this particular lecturer who is in-charged of sports activities to approve the transportation request. I went up Tangga 9 to his staffroom and only to find that he wasn't there. So, I decided to just leave the place and go back to my apartment. At the brief moment in time, when I was walking down the first few steps, I think I ter-missed one step and fell forward. But, as all of us know, we normal people would have normal reactions, so I tried to stop myself from falling by both of my legs. The situation is unexplainable but, I remembered feeling both of my legs cracking and twisting as I fell. After a falling a few steps, I managed to stop and sat down. The pain was so painful that I couldn't move. And it made me almost cry! I even had to get Joanna to help me out. She was so helpful that she went to get her Physics lecturer to send me to the clinic. Really thank God I didn't have any fractures or broken ankle but just a big, swollen feet. =(

Still swollen. And bruises are starting to appear below my toes.

And I am having a hard time walking normally. I even had to walk like an old lady. But, one good thing about this is that I can spend more time in my apartment studying instead of walking around or going out shopping. I really hope it'll recover soon. And hopefully by that time, I will be able to find the lecturer so I can go for tennis! ;)

Diarrhea Attack! Again...

=( I had a bad diarrhea again.. And because of this, I sadly decided that I better avoid my favourite Japanese sushi next time. I do not like having food poisoning at all! I couldn't sleep well on Friday night and even vomitted all the food I ate. The next day, diarrhea attacked me.

Joa also got food poisoned and she claimed it was the greentea which was left overnight that caused the food poisoning. What a coincidence! -_-|| My condition worsened again later on that day, so my parents brought me to MCMC. I received an injection to relieve my stomach discomfort and also some medicines.

And last night, my lil' sister, was suffering from a really bad stomachache that she vomitted so many times. So, Mummy got her to MCMC again. Pity her.. She had to miss her 1st day of school after CNY holidays.

Btw, I am really, really sad that Fed didn't win Aussie Open last night! I was really hoping he would win his 14th Grand Slam title but, Nadal just have to always stop him. =( I really think Fed should have win. He really played well with all the wonderful strokes he hit. Fed was really sad and disappointed that he cried when he receieved his runner-up plate. This really showed how important this title was to him. Hmph!


Nevermind this, Fed. I believe that he can still win more Grand Slam titles this year although many thinks his era is over. We just have to wait and see...

Celebrating New Year with fever, headache and diarrhea!

As the title says... I'm sick! =( But, don't worry guys, I'm feeling better now. Will try to blog about my Sarikei trip and New Year celebration if got time.

Btw, how did I get sick?

I stayed up till 12 midnight to watch the Taipei 101's fireworks and danced a little with my cousin. Then, went to sleep before 1am. I woke up at around 8am and followed my cousins to KB, Brunei. While shopping, I started to feel a little cold and feverish. Headache started to invade my brain and I had to bear with it the whole day. Not forgetting Excapade, one of my favourite Jap restaurants, I love the food but, my fever worsened and I couldn't stop shivering. Thank God for the green tea that kept me a little warm. After spending almost the whole day there, I came back and sticked cool fever pad onto my head and went to bed early. The next day, I found myself having bad stomachaches and had to go to the toilet often! Argh.. Diarrhea! So, today, my dad brought my to MCMC and had the young, not-that-friendly doctor to prescribe me some medicine.

So, that's basically how I got sick and now, in the state of recovering. Please pray for my health as I'm going to sit for my mid-sem exams soon. Speaking of exams, I didn't manage to revise well while I'm back in Miri! =( This means that I will have to double-work when I get back to college. I have faith in Him!

No Water in KTT!!!

This is really bad. This is a real sad case. There is no water supply for the whole Sepang area!

Thank God I have ErJie here in KL. On Thursday afternoon, right after the college made the announcement about the water shortage, Yasmin and I made a real spontaneous decision to go back on that day itself. Of course, we had to postponed our Friday class. So, quite a lot of us went back yesterday. It's really a sad case for us. Thankfully, our apartment was kind of the last one to have water flowing from the tap. We even had neighbours coming to fill their pails. At 5, our cab came and we made our way to the KTM station.

This morning, Joanna texted me about the news. I was truly disappointed about it. How could this happened to us?! I just really pray that the water will come back by Sunday. Really pray that the pipes will be fixed by Sunday.

Btw, I'm feeling better now. Still got a bit of cough but, it's getting better. This week hadn't been a good week for me though but, I believe that everything will be alright. Have faith in Him!

Home Alone!

Hey guys! Yes, I'm still sick. Still having flu and now, I have mild cough. Don't worry, I'm taking as much rest as I can. Since, I'm sick, I didn't go to ErJie's place yesterday. So, I had to stay back in college. It's not that bad coz' I have lots of friends here to accompany me. I just went to Giant to buy groceries. Bought quite a lot of vegetables and some other food for me to cook. I got to eat some healthy homemade food.

Btw, I'm here in the library now. I was actually studying in the lecture hall but, just wanted to take a walk so, went here and blog. Hehe:)

Flu Attack!

I've been attacked by my childhood friend, Flu. Now, having a blocked nose and headache. But, don't worry! I'm getting better.

I'm currently blogging at the library again. Had been here since 2pm. I'm a little bit sleepy but, trying to stay awake to revise. Btw, last night, we had a movie during CF, Facing the Giants. Super inspiring movie! And yes, I did cry when watching the movie. If anyone of you haven't heard of this really good movie, you must really watch it!

Ok. As usual, I better get back to my Biology now.

Sick!!!

Getting sick on CNY is really something sad and disappointed. And guess what.. I happened to me! Haiks..

I was sick on the 2nd day of CNY. I didn't do much actually except for just visiting. Then, I started to feel a bit weird. After visiting Michelle and Sing Ping, my fever started to come. Haiks..

It's actually not a surprise that I got sick because people do get sick sometimes. But, this time, it was a little different. When I was sick, it made my mind flew back into those bitter memories.. I recalled back the times when I was reminded that I was hospitalised for being suspected to have dengue fever(?). Suddenly, I remembered Mama telling me that it was either Daddy or Mummy who cried when I was hospitalised. Then, the memory of what ErJie told me when we saw my little, old favourite Doraemon packet in a supermarket reappeared in my mind. She told me that Daddy always buy that from the 3rd Mile market for me everyday when I was sick. These memories are really making me cry..

Btw, I am still sick. I'm having this really bad sore throat and headache. Haiks.. Please pray for me..
