New flaps

Sorry, I cannot resist writing here again. Yes, this is Hammer the Spammer here to spark up Miss Lynthia's blog.

Today, I present you a never-seen-before photo..

Oh yes, this is an old photo dug out just recently. I, Hammer, never really liked pets until Shoo and Hei came into my life. Well, most pet enthusiasts would be very concerned about their pets. Cat owners usually have door flaps installed at their kitchen or entrance door to allow their cats the freedom to enter or exit the house anytime they wish. However, do you realise the potential of other cats entering through the door flaps? The potential "visitors" may finish up the food you have prepared for your own cat, leaving your poor kitty to misery and starvation.

That is why I would like to introduce PetPorte SmartFlap, an innovative product which enables you to monitor and ensure that only your cat can enter through the flap. This unique product is battery powered and fits in most existing circular hole on the door. It allows only cats with the specially designated microchip ID to enter through the flap. Isn't this a brilliant way to keep other cats off your beloved pet's territory?

Now, with a special offer price, you get also an 18-month warranty with it. If still in doubt, the 40-day risk free trial is what you should grab. Have more peace at home today.

Toast to the hosts

Hi there, people! This is Hammer the Spammer once again. While Miss Lynthia is toiling away with her AS papers (I hear it is Cambridge, not London Board that she is taking...), I would just want to ensure you that she is doing fine. She would definitely come back to the blogosphere soon, that is, after she finishes her papers in June.

Speaking of blogging, you may be interested in expanding your blog to newer horizons. Yes, I am talking about webhosting. It is always a good thing to have your own website hosted instead of relying on a free-to-host site. Web hosting means a whole lot for many out there. For those who are venturing into business, a website which is hosted by a trusted and reliable host draws more traffic and trust.

Trust me, web hosting issues is not only for those who are into business. Every Tom, Dick and Harry nowadays have the capacity and affordability to get their websites hosted as well. You may be an avid blogger, photographer or just freelance journalist. Whatever cause you are in for, web hosting is universal and common to all. Find out more about web hosting news and various other topics to keep yourselves abreast to the latest in the world wide web.

Hammering again

Hi there, it is Hammer the Spammer here to intrude in this very pink blog.

Today, I want to bring across the issue of dressing. Do you like dresses? How about a piece fancy dress? Well, if you are a girl and opts for dresses instead of top and bottom, I would say you are an easy-going, fuss free person. Sometimes, don't you think it is tiring to find matching top and bottom for an outing? How much easier it is if you just don a piece of dress to go out with. Accessorise it with a necklace, clincher or a nice bag and you're off to show to the world what you're made of. Of course, do not forget those shoes.

Well, Hammer is quite a fat Hammer now. Hammer needs to lose some substantial amount of fats before she starts putting on nice dresses.

See you all soon!

Hammers launches occupational health and safety

Hello there again! This is Hammer the Spammer coming into Lynthia's blog again to promote some awareness and to sprinkle little lessons in life.

I think this is of much relevance to most of us - young, aspiring people like me and you. Some of us are entering the world of professionals. Whether it is healthcare, engineering or politics. Others of us may be into the business world. There are also some of us who may end up in the management area. I always think that readers of this blog would all become very successful people, so no matter what your future career may be in.

Anyway, into my topic. I want to bring you into the realm of occupational health and safety. This applies to basically everyone. Whether you work in a factory, a laboratory or a farm, you are due to face hazards. Take for example, a factory. In a factory, there would be various machineries which may be hazards. In a laboratory, there may not be so many machines, but the chemicals you deal with become your occupational hazard. So, what about the farms? One may think that working at the farm is just like being in the nature, so you may not come across such occupational hazard.

You may just be wrong. How about those pesticides you deal with? There are plenty of cases where farm workers accidentally ingest harmful pesticides. So, you get the idea? Every single occupation has its own occupational hazards. Accidents happen everywhere. No one can predict how and when accidents occur. But as an occupational specialist's point of view, you can learn to plan well before all these devastating events come by.

A wise employer should think about various potential Accident Compensation Claims which may come by one of these days. Even if you are not an employer, an employee should also have some knowledge in this field so that they know their rights as an employee. Accidents at your workplace may happen for a reason - they may be a wakeup call to do some changes to your workplace to improve its safety, but there is no excuse that the victim involved in the workplace accident is compromised. While it is a loss for both employer and employee, having a good insurance plan is always the thing to start with.

So, the next time you are in your job, you must bear this in mind. Never get underpaid for overworking. Especially not in the circumstances where you are affected medically or healthwise.

To the UK!

I believe by now you would have some ideas who Hammer the Spammer really is. I have given enough clues in the past. It is just the matter of piecing them up into a big picture and you find yourself reading a familiar blog post.

Another huge clue I am giving is that Hammer the Spammer is going to the UK soon for her studies. So, it is up to you to figure out who the Hammer really is.

Meanwhile, speaking of the UK itself, I must bring you to an enlightening topic. Most of the time, when people here about the UK, they would envision those famous places, historical buildings and rich traditions. Travel in the United Kingdom is definitely fun and worthwhile. You would find yourself spoilt for choices there. In London itself, you already have those museums to visit. How about palaces? Or those bridges?

Well, if you want to go out of London, there are even more places you can visit and things to do. Yes, like what I have mentioned - you would be spoilt for choice. However, today I would like to point out something in this very 'hammering' post.

Let me present you a different idea of travel and adventure on the British soil which would give you an adventure of a lifetime and your money worthwhile. Instead of the typical places to visit, why not give some thoughts to the alternative destinations? Those are some of the destinations not many people would consider as tourist destinations, yet they are definitely perfect spots for travel destination. Just give you some examples.. Northumbria, Torquay, Folkstone, Wales.

Take an example.. getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I may want to look into vacation in cottages. Fresh air, scenic views... those are things you can find if you plan your vacation at the Northumbria Cottages. I believe you can get good deals and at the same time, spend quality time with your loved ones. It would be a creative way to spend your holidays. A picnic, fishing or just walking on the lush greeneries.

Coping with redundancy

Hi everyone, it is Hammer the Spammer once again!

Indeed, it has been quite some time since I left my mark here, hasn't it? I was just trying to hold my horses as not to bore everyone here on this very pink web blog which belongs rightfully to Lynthia Wong.

Today, I am here to point out the very redundancy in many people. With that looming economy recession, some people just become jobless and find whatever they do redundant. They can't seem to have that breakthrough whether in financial matters or career advancement.

As a matter of fact, I, Hammer the Spammer is one of them. At the moment, I am just bumming around. Most of the time, I would say aloud my wonderful visions in life, yada yada yada but in the end, no solid action is taken. How hypocritic, I would say. Well, I really should take more action and take charge of my life altogether.

So, of late, I have tried to widen my field. I try to explore the worlds where I never really were interested in. I learn about various business opportunities and even got myself an odd job. If I had more time, I wuold always think of very exciting jobs. Say, Finance Jobs or working online. I like that flexible schedule and freelance sort of commitment. Be creative and daring when it comes to exploring those job or career opportunities. Stretch yourself and get out of that comfort zone. You may find more opportunities waiting out there.

If you have a valid qualification such as a vocational certificate, diploma or a degree, you can always try to maximise that advantage. If all still fails, get online and find those online recruitment companies. They can bring you to many different horizons that you can never even imagine!

Calling all music fans!

Hammer the Spammer here. Don't say I never warned you!

I remember Miss Lynthia talking about her guitar obessesion. Not to mention, words have it that she has also started playing the keyboard. However, many of her friends are even better musicians that her.

In fact, there are many budding musicians out there. They can compose their own songs and most of them either hide it somewhere or love uploading their pieces up on the world wide web to share with other music lovers. So if you are one of those who would want to do so, go jump over YouMusic.com!

Hammer receives a pic msg

I received this photo from Miss Lynthia not too long ago, showing off herself in this rich purple Punjabi suit. So there you go, say hi to Lynthia!

It is believed...

It is believed that Miss Lynthia is at a certain campsite having camp at the moment. So, I, Hammer the Spammer is here to throw you some updates.

Today the weather in Miri has been cooling with slightly some drizzle. It is a fine Saturday morning with Hammer paying a visit to her favourite dentist, Dr Bob. Hammer found out that she has a buried wisdom tooth which requires a minor one-hour surgery. Yikes!! Horrors of horrors.

Anyway, I penned down this 'dental' experience simply because Lynthia Wong is going to pursue a career in dentistry. See? I always try to make my pieces relevant to the owner of this blog, afterall.

On another note, do you know that you can try Betsson Casino if you are thinking of trying for €1 000 000? Sources has it that the Arabian Nights video slot jackpot has passed the million mark and may fall out at any time. Don't say I never told you!

Extension? What extension?

Hi, I cannot stop apologising over and over again for being here. Yes, this is another article brought to you by Hammer the Spammer. Miss Lynthia might be so furious that the next thing I know, she would probably change her password and I can no longer access her blog to express myself her.

Forgive me!

Anyway, today, I have a good insight to bring to you. I want to introduce to you a little computer lesson. Have you ever wondered why we need file extensions? For example, a photo in jpeg format has a name called photo1.jpg

In fact, there are a range of file extentions which make life easier for both the system and myself. If I see leehom.mp3 I would probably guess it must be a Lee Hom's song, not some random photo of Lee Hom. But if it is leehom.jpg, then I would definitely know this is must be a gorgeous Lee Hom picture.

File Extension Library helps make your life easier when it comes to file extensions. Find out more about 3g2 if you are curious enough.

What's faith?

I may just stop hammering

Hello everybody!

I think this is fun - to keep people guessing who is actually Hammer the Spammer. Sorry for dropping here so often. I, the Hammer, is currently jobless. That explains why I am so free to come here and cheer you guys up!

So, why do we all blog? It is a trend which become a booming thing some years ago. I do not know about Miss Lynthia Wong, but I, Hammer, started blogging in the year 2001. Ah, I have exposed how old I am, haven't I?

Blogging is fun because it is a way to keep in touch and to express yourself. However, nowadays, more and more people are looking into having their own domains. So, you might want to start checking out web hosts and providers. Which one to choose? Which one to take?

Fret not, readers. Drop by web hosting rating to get a clearer idea on which web hosting providers you should choose from. Since there are so many choices out there, you may be blinded and left undecided. Indecisiveness is the last thing we would want. So, look - dig into the web hosting directory and find out which one suits you the most.

Time to get your domain, yes?

Which road to take?

Hi, this is actually Hammer the Spammer again. Pardon me for my frequent presence here. I promise I would run away soon. After I am done. Meanwhile, Hammer is a pathetic 23-year-old who is jobless at the moment.

So, what am I to do? Play some Online Poker? Doesn't sound too fancy an idea to me. I do want to earn some bucks but I ain't sure if I should play games. Well, some people need to play games to destress but me? I am not sure.

Let me digress a little.

See the photo up there? I am just making this up, alright. Now don't go around spreading rumours that Lynthia Wong wants to go IMU. She just happened to take a photo in front of the IMU building and I completely made that up. Lynthia is going India.

Hey, that rhymes! Lynthia is going India.

As much as I was hoping she doesn't go India, this is the road she has taken.

Back to a Hammer-like topic.

I, Hammer, have been quite slacking. I mentioned, didn't I? I think the best thing on tv is probably sports at the moment. I so, so dig tennis. No, it doesn't have to do with a name that rhymes with 'tennis' but I just love the game. I love how the racket is like a real powerful weapon and the tennis ball is like the bullet. It is fascinating. I wish I could conquer this racket game. While I do not play a good game of tennis, I enjoy watching it on the tv.

In Dubai now, Ana Ivanovic is meeting Serena Williams in the second career meeting. Serena and Ana.. hey, their names rhyme too!

What's with me and words that rhyme?

Poke the coke, peeps. Tame the game. Shoot the boot and hit the pit. Whatever. Gah.

Hammer says, "Be green!"

Hi, I am sorry I sound like I am spamming this blog but hey, this is Hammer the Spammer again here to enlighten you all while Miss Lynthia is probably in a self-conflict trying to decide whether to study chemistry or biology. Or physics, for that matter.

Today, I, the Hammer wants to bring across a very important message about the environment. I think 'go green' is like the new pink. It is something that has to be etched into everyone's mind before the earth is destroyed by our filthy human hands.

Previously, a group of student was promoting 'Go green' by bringing our own containers to the campus instead of packing food with polystyrenes. I think it was a tremendous effort. My housemate and I reminded each other and we actually participated in it. If only everyone could try to put in a little effort. Maybe say "no" the next time you see the cashier putting your purchase into a plastic bag. It saves the environment. It is actually vital.

The "Go Green" message is not only restricted to individuals. Companies and large corporations should start getting into the 'green' mode as well. Travel companies should not be excluded. Travel Marketing is a large market out there. If one travel company can come up and make a difference, I believe many lives would be touched and transformed. People get influenced in the right way. The effect is almost domino-like. It is a huge impact overall.

Even a simple thing such as 'e-ticketing' or dealing via email instead of faxes could save tons of papers. Papers come from trees and we can save trees and so on and so forth. It is really exciting if we come to think about it.

Be green today. It is the new pink.

Hammer is here again!

Hey, Miss Lynthia is so, so busy that she cannot come on here and she has specially requested me, Hammer the Spammer to come here and create some buzz so that her readers won't abandon this pink blog of hers.

La, la, la di da.. hey I should try revamping the entire layout instead. But Miss Lynthia might kill me before I could even usher in the year of the Ox this coming CNY, so better not risk my life for some teeny weeny bit of pink blog.

Gosh. Pink. Okay, that font was red, but since the blog is already pink, I couldn't possibly give put the font in pink, you know what I mean? That would be totally redundant. If you are smart enough to understand me.

Anyway, let me think of things to spice this pink blog up. Ah, I really should stop mentioning 'pink'. Right.

Alright, so Miss Lynthia wants to tell you all readers that she loves you guys so much but I believe she hasn't renewed her internet subscription, so technically, she cannot go online to blog. Please forgive her. She needs to study for her exams because her *cough* lecturers aren't really competent to relay some important educational information to their students. *Cough* Self-studying for A Level exams is seriously no joke. I've been there, done that. Oops. I shouldn't have revealed so much about me the Hammer. You would have guessed who is Hammer the Spammer after all.

Let me distract you with a photo of Miss Lynthia in the small pineapple town called Sarikei..

Well, technically, it should have been Jakar which is at the periphery of Sarikei. So Miss Lynthia was playing with two toddlers. No, those are not her cousins. They are her cousin's daughters!!

Ok, Hammer the Spammer is going to play some guitar. Dum.. di dum.. dum.. strum strum strum.

Hammer giving talk about handling

Hi, Hammer the Spammer is here with loads of Christmas and New Year wishes to all you readers out there.
Since I, Hammer the Spammer, has been away for quite some time on this pink blog, I am back here once again to give you guys some words of wisdom in time gloomy time of global economy recession. I am sure you would have at least read about the current economy crisis going around the region. Headlines are everywhere talking about possible losses of mega corporations and big businesses.
I believe that in this time where everything just seems unstable, we must keep in mind about something. We should learn to manage our finances well. Do not simply spend. Overspending only means debts piling up waiting to literally ‘chop off’ your head.
Well, do not point fingers and yell, “No, it would never happen to me!”
The truth is, debt knows no skin colour or financial status. If it can happen to a businessman, it can also happen to an average Joe or an average Jane like you and I. Debts come in many forms. It may be just as simple as the debt you owe over your credit card bill. Do not underestimate debt. It causes you plenty of headache and trust me, you might even lose precious sleep when debts overwhelm you.
Always keep in mind – you do not need to spend the money you do not have to impress the people you do not like. Avoid Bankruptcy today.

Hammer's recommendation

Hi, it's Hammer the Spammer again, speaking from a 7-storey tall highland.

Today's topic is about the social network portals in this world wide web, the place we call the internet. Yes, Friendster has come and, sadly, abandoned. Now, everyone is into Facebook. Not to mention, MySpace, Multiply and other various social networks. While those social networks are mostly based on friendships, family ties and relationships, this acobay network portal is something revolutionary. Yes, it is about connecting different people from all around the world. But how can you 'connect' and just click just so randomly with strangers? The secret is, you can do so by searching for people who own the same or similar items with you, or those who have travelled to the same place as you.

Interesting?

It is easy to register an account on Acobay. You do not even need an email to start with. After filling simple forms, you get to add items or places you have been to. You can join in discussions. Look Lynthia's item - she has added this Animal Crossing game I own. If another user happen to own this Animal Crossing game as well, we get to talk about the strategies and various tips to go about this game. Is this not a great idea to expand your horizon?

Speaking of Animal Crossing, Tom Nook must be real mad at Lynthia for not paying the loan on the home renovations.........

The internet and advertising world

Who would have guessed the power and influence of the internet in today's world? Some two decades ago, most normal Tom, Dick or Harry would not even have the slightest idea that one day, there is this tool that is indescribable.. it is called the 'internet'. It links people from all around the world. You can even go on it without any wires. Now, better still, the mobile phones are picking this technology up as well. The speed gets faster each day. The possibilities goes beyond most peoples' imaginations.

That is why it is a good prospect to look into the advertising world with the internet being part of its stem. A wise and smart business owner should realise the potential of this world wide web of internet and make full use of this in his or her business. Well, even if you do not own a business, there is so much potential in working for an Online Advertising Agency as well. If you are one who has just graduated fresh from the university and cringing away because you think you may not get a job, thanks to the current economy recession, think again. There are endless opportunities if you were to start your own online advertising agency or work for one.

For one obvious reason, most companies are looking to the internet to advertise their services and products. People realise the power and influence that internet brings. They want their products being known to a large group of consumers. They would not be too foolish to just target to a small population by printing brochures and distributing them in one community only. With the internet, the target audience increases by many folds. After all, most people go online to surf. That is why advertising as a tool on the internet has become such a huge market.

So if you are still cringing away thinking what a sad life you have got because you may not get a job, think again. Get into the online advertising industry and find yourself a decent yet colourful and adventurous job today.

Obviously, this is yet another exclusive piece brought to you by Hammer the Spammer.
