Out Again!

Just got back from from dinner with ErJie just now. (I've been spending a lot of time at ErJie's place nowadays) We went to OUG Plaza and had dinner at Penang Kopitiam. The food there is just so-so. I still think Gurney Drive is better at this. ErJie had prawn bihun while I had something different, asam laksa! Not bad but, it's a little too hot and spicy for me. We also had chicken lobak which tasted OK. We managed to snap a few photos using our new Sony SLR.

Miss Doc checking the pills...

Prawn bihun!

My asam laksa.. Yum!

A photo of me!

After dinner, we went to walk around. I saw some really cute Carlo Rino's bags! Something that I would really love to get. ;) We also went grocery shopping at Giant. It's kind of hard to get a taxi at OUG Plaza. We even had to walk out to grab a taxi. Thank God we got a taxi back before it was dark. After we got back, I managed to snap some photos of the view from the apartment.

Random pans...

Love the colour of the sky...

Random condo behind the apartment.

The construction site behind the apartment.

Let me know how's the photos. I'm still trying to learn how to use. Btw, I'm struggling to get all the Chem notes into my head. It's so hard for me to understand. I like Chem but, sometimes it's just so difficult for me. But, I know I shouldn't be worried. All things are possible in God! Please pray for me.

This is what DaJie had shared with me today:

John 14:26 (New International Version)

26But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

May God bless all of you!

What do you want for your eyes?

I have been complaining to my second elder sister (I have two older sisters, by the way) about my poor night vision. Yes, astigmatisme has been bugging me forever! Although I usually do not wear spectacles, I find that lately, I need them especially during the night. It is annoying and at times, I fear that I would have to build the dependence of having to wear glasses.

Apart from the dependence of wearing glasses, I must also emphasize - spectacles are really not cheap. With the escalating living cost and the economy turmoil, almost every item I see in the market is more expensive than before. Frustrating?

Well, just recently, I found out that ZenniOptical.com has simply revolutionarised the eyeglasses market. It is simply quite unbelievable how affordable spectacles can be, after seeing the range and selection on the website. Even Chicago Tribune has talked about consumers who are actually overpaying for their glasses; I really think it speaks of something. I do believe that we must be smart consumers to hunt for good deals for our hard-earned cash.

ZenniOptical.com may just be the right choice for you and I. Stylish Prescription Glasses Online from $8, with a huge variety of frames to spoil you away. Perhaps I can get more for the same amount of money I am currently paying for my spects. One pair for each day of the week, how does that sound? Am I brilliant or what?

All Fixed!

I am just so relieved! The plumber came yesterday to fix the toilet and kitchen tap.

It feels good to have a new, clean tap water... (Not my apartment's one though)

At last! It has been a month since we complained and he finally came. Pity Suraya had to encounter the plumber again. After receiving a text from her, I went up to our apartment and found the toilet flush fixed and a new, clean kitchen tap! I's just so excited and happy.. ;)

New SLR and Super Fav Spotliter

ErJie and I went to Bukit Bintang yesterday to hunt for an SLR. After hours of surveying and walking from Lowyat to Bukit Bintang and back to Lowyat and finally to Bukit Bintang again, we finally decided to get a Sony A200W. We're still a beginner when it comes to SLR. But, we'll try our best to explore it as much we can and make full use of the functions. Btw, I still need advices from Keane about it. ;) Oh no! I'm making it sound like it's mine. Haha! No... It's not mine but rather of the family's stuff. But, at least I can use it sometimes.

Checking out the SLR at the shop :)

After having the battery fully charged, I tried snapping some pictures. It's super fun! So, I decided to snap some pictures of my super favourite highlighters: Pilot Spotliter. This is the first type of highlighters that I really like. ErJie recommended it to me of course. I love the colours especially Mango.

The colourful spotliters!

One of my fav colours : Mango

It costs RM2.70 each. Not too expensive and it made my books so colourful! ;) Love using them loads!

Making my 'colourless' Chem book colourful!

P/s: There is still no water in KTT. :( God, please help us...

No Water in KTT!!!

This is really bad. This is a real sad case. There is no water supply for the whole Sepang area!

Read this.

Thank God I have ErJie here in KL. On Thursday afternoon, right after the college made the announcement about the water shortage, Yasmin and I made a real spontaneous decision to go back on that day itself. Of course, we had to postponed our Friday class. So, quite a lot of us went back yesterday. It's really a sad case for us. Thankfully, our apartment was kind of the last one to have water flowing from the tap. We even had neighbours coming to fill their pails. At 5, our cab came and we made our way to the KTM station.

This morning, Joanna texted me about the news. I was truly disappointed about it. How could this happened to us?! I just really pray that the water will come back by Sunday. Really pray that the pipes will be fixed by Sunday.

Btw, I'm feeling better now. Still got a bit of cough but, it's getting better. This week hadn't been a good week for me though but, I believe that everything will be alright. Have faith in Him!
