F for Service

I went to The 'D' Hotel last night for a wedding reception. Before, I was so excited coz' I haven't been to a wedding reception since a few years ago. Miss the food and the atmosphere of: YAMMMMMMMMMSEI!!!!
I reached there quite early. I didn't go there early to eat... I went there early because I had to ok? Don't misunderstand. So, I waited and waited for the whole event to take place! And, I ended up waiting for a almost 1 hour +!!! It was suppose to start at 6.30pm but it started at around 7.30pm. What???!!! So frustrated and hungry at that time.
But, at least there were food. Food was nice and standard, not to flowery and not to simple. Just nice. However, I discovered that the service there was really terrible! Why? Have you ever seen a waitress coming to you and shout at your ears: Excuse me! What drink you want?!
Waliao!!! -_-|| Where on earth there is such a service in a hotel like this? Even worst, when it was time for dessert, we were suppose to have our napkins on the table. So, this lil' Miss Waitress, instead of helping me to put the napkin on the table, she asked me: Nah... Ni kan ta men ce yan chuo no zian chuo OK??!! (Eng: You see how they do, you do it like this)
-_-|||| Aduh! I really want to complain to the hotel about how terrible their service is! I'm not trying to say she is very terrible but, the way she serves ppl is really wrong! -_-||||
I fully don't recommend this hotel to you all to organise your wedding reception or any functions. It's just going to make you feel embarrassed!
Luckily, I was in a good mood last night so, I wasn't really -_-|||| at this... She should thank God that I didn't complain abt her! Haha...

Chap Gor Mei = Valentines' Day

Has anyone knows that Chap Gor Mei = Valentines' Day?

Roses on Chap Gor Mei??

I didn't know about this until Ning Jie told me so few years ago. Why would I care so much about this? Maybe I really hope that my dream guy would pop out... Hehe... Just kidding btw! This year's Chap Gor Mei is going to be very tense and stressful. I will be having my 1st half semester exam on the day after Chap Gor Mei! How could this happen? How could the school treat us like that? However, I would just try to ignore the exam pressure and spend my delightful Chap Gor Mei tomorrow.

P/s: Please pray for me for the exam!

Sports Day 2007

Four days ago was my school's sports. Again, a year has passed. I could still remember last year's sports. Still fresh in my mind!
By the way, I must really admit that I have been a very inactive blogger since last year. I really can't help it. It's been a really frustrating and busy year for me. But, I promise I will do my best to prevent this from happening. Trust me!
For this year's sports, I had quite a lot of fun! Prefects had to help in decorating the grand stand again. Tiring but, fun! The most fun part was washing the stairs. We all ended up playing water, splashing water at each other and taking a lot of pictures. While having fun, I spotted some 'Datins' sitting and watching the whole scene...

Those 'Datins' really know how to enjoy themselves...

After helping with the decorations, we had to take care of the security! We had to sit at the main entrance and guard the door. Boring but, had a lot of fun chatting and playing bubbles...

My ice ring

With Emandy and Joyce playing bubbles (Btw, I didn't play as I was guarding the door.. .Haha..)

Bad Marvin wearing Joa's cap without her knowing!

With cute Daniel, Joa's new 'adik angkat'

I also got to go on the lorry to carry the pots back to school. I thought it would be very tiring but I ended up having a lot of fun standing on the lorry and enjoying the beautiful Miri City.

FUN!!!!

My camera just can't fit all of us... It was really sweaty but fun!

Well, as for the sports results, Chong got first!

Marvin is the leader of Chong. Good job!

Again, proudly, Danson came in second!

Way the go, Danson! I am proud of you! Ho is the leader.

Lim improved a lot from last year as it emerged as the 2nd runner up. Lim was the last for the past sports.

Congrates Lim! Che Kong is the leader.

Mcdougall got last... Don't be sad, you can do it next time!

It's ok.. Don't give up! Samreet, you did a great job btw!

Overall, Sports Day 2007 was a great success. We all achieved what we wanted. Proud of the athletes! It's kind of sad because this will be my last year in StCo. But, I hope to come back again to watch the sports next year! All the best!
