First Time...

You guys might be thinking.. What first time? First time going on a diet? First time going on a date? Or.. First time dancing in public? My goodness! Haha.. Well, it's actually my first time working! Of course, I had worked before for my school and my clubs. But, I have never work the real work before and earn the real money till yesterday! At last I got to experience the life of a part time worker.....Well, for a day only. ^_^|| It all started when Ah Ning called me to ask whether I am interested or not. I was hesitating because I know I am not good in doing this. But, Mummy convinced me to do it because the pay was quite reasonable. So, I said yes!

Me and Ah Ning at the office...

So, basically, we were just part time workers working for the catering restaurant for the Opening Ceremony of the Puchong Flyover. I was quite nervous actually because I didn't know what to do. It was so random! I saw quite a lot of people that I know there and obviously I was hiding from them. Haha... I even met my old tennis friends: Kom and Aziz.

Under Puchong Flyover

The Opening Ceremony venue...

We had to wait for the ceremony to end which was sooooo long! Thanks to the VERY LOOONNNG speeches! So, we chatted, looked around and took some pictures. I even saw a Miri version of Paris Hilton! Haha... So, after the ceremony ended, we quickly got to work. What we did were refilling water and carrying plates of food. Not much work though. But, it was worth it.

Workers working...

Unknown people coming in to the place to steal water! Haha...

So, I earned RM30 for the very first time working. Really glad and excited. However, I did realise one important thing: I am not suitable to become a waitress. Seriously, I am not a good waitress. Haha..

It is really hard being a waitress right? Imagine holding few plates on one hand. I have yet to master them, though I know I am not going to work as a waitress anymore.

Sherp,
It's a good experience actually. :)

Ivy,
I'm going to spend it because I am not going to get any allowance for the moment. Haha..

UeiYing,
It's really hard to become a waitress. That's why I don't think I want to find such a job. Haha..

You have to start somewhere to be a good waitress. And the good experience does help in food handling at home tho' especially for the coming CNY.

Uchu Keling,
True, but is hard to find a place to learn to be a good waitress. Haha..
I only serve drinks during CNY but I'm pretty sure that is easier to do than serving drinks as a waitress.
